I began my journey with data while studying Business Analytics & Information Systems at the University of Iowa. Since then, I've spent my career pursuing opportunities that teach me how businesses actually make money. I started as an Associate Analyst answering questions with SQL and python, moved into roles where I became a part of strategic and operational decisions, and eventually began building the data systems, automations, and AI workflows that make those decisions possible.
I began my career at CDW, where I developed a strong foundation in analytics and business fundamentals. What I enjoyed most about my analyst roles in the eCommerce department was the amount of learning I got to do. From the beginning, I was sitting in meetings with Vice Presidents and Directors at the company. Hearing what questions they asked when presented with how the business was performing was like taking an MBA crash course.
As I progressed, my responsibilities became increasingly more strategic. I started leading weekly KPI calls with department leadership, built forecasting and machine learning models, and contributed to GTM initiatives responding to competitive threats. That experience taught me that the most valuable analytics work is rarely just about producing a dashboard or a powerpoint. It is about understanding the business problem well enough to turn data into action, monitoring and evaluating that action, and iterating as needed.
As my reputation at the company grew, I was recruited to join the Strategy & Operations department. I carried what I learned from my previous roles into my Senior Analyst position, where I moved beyond traditional analysis and began building solutions that directly changed business processes. I led automation initiatives involving IT, Finance, Operations, and Sales, including workflows that monitor operational performance and helped turn analytical findings into meaningful process improvements.
Most recently, at ActiveCampaign, I focused on the underlying data and analytics infrastructure that makes that kind of decision-making possible. As a Senior Analytics Engineer, I built Snowflake data models and SQL transformation pipelines, developed reusable LookML assets for self-service analytics, implemented monitoring for critical data pipelines, and documented data lineage and business definitions to make analytics more reliable and accessible. I also led an initiative that reduced annual Snowflake compute costs by more than $100,000 and began incorporating AI agents to research, validate, and prepare responses to business questions from stakeholders.
My work brings together critical thinking, clear communication, and continuous learning. This portfolio explores business questions through SQL, Python, and R—from retail revenue and experimentation to forecasting and predictive modeling.
I value thoughtful questions, transparent methods, and findings that people can understand and use.
